Educational Qualification

For General Subjects: Post Graduate (Master’s) Degree in the relevant subject with a B.Ed. Degree. For Biology: Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Life Science, plus a B.Ed. degree. For Commerce: Master’s degree in Commerce with B.Com, plus a B.Ed. degree. For Drawing & Music: Master’s degree or a 4 to 5-year specialized Arts Diploma. For Physical Education: Graduation degree plus a 2-year M.P.Ed. degree. For Sports Coaches: Graduation degree plus Diploma in Physical Education and NIS certificate. Common Requirement: Knowledge of reading and writing Hindi in Devanagari script and basic knowledge of Rajasthani culture.

Printout of your online Admit Card / Exam City Slip. A valid Photo ID proof (like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, driving license, or Passport). Recent passport-sized photographs. Educational certificates for verification later.

Examination Details

Here is everything you need to know about how and when the exam will happen. We have kept it very simple for you to note down.

1. Exam Dates: The written test will start on May 31, 2026, and it will end on June 11, 2026.
2. Total Vacancies: There are a total of 3,225 posts for First Grade Teachers (School Lecturer).
3. Exam Mode: This is going to be a normal offline paper. You will get an OMR sheet where you have to fill in the circles with a pen.
4. Exam Cities: The commission has set up exam centers in 30 different cities across Rajasthan to make it easy for students to travel.
5. City Slip vs. Admit Card: Please remember that the city slip is not your final admit card. The city slip only tells you the name of the city. Your exact school or college center name will come on the final admit card later.
6. How to Download: Go to the official website (rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in). Look for the “Exam City Slip” link. Type in your application number and your date of birth. Then, download the PDF and save it on your phone.

Salary Details

Getting a government teaching job in Rajasthan is a dream for many because the salary and respect are very high. Here is how much you will earn.

1. Pay Rules: The salary for this job follows the rules of the 7th Pay Commission given by the state government.
2. Pay Level: This post comes under Pay Level 12 in the government system.
3. Grade Pay: You will get a Grade Pay of Rs. 4800, which is very good.
4. Basic Salary: Once you become a permanent employee, your starting basic pay will be around Rs. 44,300 every month.
5. Probation Period: For the first two years of the job, you will be on a probation period. During these two years, you will receive a fixed salary amount every month.
6. Extra Benefits: After you finish your two-year probation successfully, your salary increases a lot. The government adds extra money to your basic pay. This includes Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), travel money, and medical help. Because of all these benefits, the money you take home is very handsome.

Answer: You can easily check and download your city slip by visiting the official website, which is rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.

Question 2: Does the city slip show my exact exam center address?

Answer: No, it does not. It only tells you the city name so you can book your bus or train tickets. The full address of your center will be printed on your final admit card.

Question 3: When will RPSC give the final admit card?

Answer: RPSC usually releases the final admit cards 3 to 4 days before your actual exam date. So keep checking the website.

Question 4: Can I change my exam city if it is very far?

Answer: No, the commission does not allow anyone to change their exam city once it is decided. You have to go to the city they have given you.
