Educational Qualification

For Science Subjects: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Mathematics, Physics, and English securing at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English, OR hold a 3-year Engineering Diploma with minimum 50% marks and 50% in English, OR have completed a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English. Examination Details

The selection process for Air Force Agniveer Vayu 02/2027 is completed in different stages to select suitable candidates.

Phase 1 – Online Test:
Candidates first appear in an online examination. The questions are based on the candidate’s selected subject group. The test checks knowledge, reasoning ability, English, and other required subjects.

Phase 2 – Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

Salary Details

Selected candidates will serve as Agniveer Vayu under the Agnipath Scheme for a period of four years.

First Year Salary: Around ₹30,000 per month.

Annual Increase: The monthly package increases every year during the four-year service period.

In-Hand Salary: A part of the monthly salary is contributed to the Agniveer Corpus Fund, and the Government contributes an equal amount. The remaining amount is paid as in-hand salary.

Seva Nidhi Package: After completing four years of service successfully, candidates receive a tax-free Seva Nidhi package as per the Agnipath Scheme rules.

Other Benefits: Agniveers also receive medical facilities, uniform, travel benefits, risk and hardship allowances (where applicable), and insurance coverage according to government guidelines.
