Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matric) with an ITI Certificate from NCVT/SCVT in trades like Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, etc. OR Class 10th with a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution. Examination Details

The RRB ALP CBT 2 Exam is conducted for candidates who successfully clear the first stage of the recruitment process. It checks the candidate’s technical knowledge, reasoning ability, mathematics, and general awareness.

Candidates should download their admit card as soon as it is available. They must also verify all details printed on it, such as their name, exam date, reporting time, and exam centre.

On the exam day, candidates should reach the examination centre before the reporting time. Carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof. Without these documents, entry to the examination hall may not be allowed.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, calculators, or any unfair material are not allowed inside the examination centre. Candidates should carefully follow all instructions given by the Railway Recruitment Board.

After the CBT 2 examination, qualified candidates will move to the next stages of the recruitment process as per the official RRB selection procedure.

Salary Details

Candidates selected as Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) receive salary under Level-2 of the 7th Pay Commission.

The approximate basic pay is ₹19,900 per month.

Along with the basic salary, selected candidates may receive several allowances, including:

• House Rent Allowance (HRA)
• Transport Allowance (TA)
• Night Duty Allowance (where applicable)
• Running Allowance (as per railway rules)
